He holds a background in chemical engineering and is a PMP-certified project manager and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Dr. Yasmine Abdin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of British Columbia. With over 15 years of research experience, she specializes in composites processing and performance, prototyping, and industrial applications.

Dr. Scott Renneckar is a Professor in the Department of Wood Science at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Renneckar provides 25 years of research experience in processing polymers and macromolecules into fibers and composites. His commitment to sustainability is demonstrated by his leadership of the Bioeconomy Sciences and Technology program at UBC.
